It's hard to believe it's already almost mid-October! We're fresh off a very busy, fun September and excited to keep the momentum going. If you discovered us at Filter Photo or Unseen Amsterdam and are new to this mailing list, welcome!

Printing Schedule Update

Normally around this time we'd be deep into working on the Winter Issue, getting content ready and preparing to be in production...however, the team and I have decided to make a big change...

UPDATE: Pamplemousse is transitioning from publishing 4 times per year in print, down to 3.

Starting now and moving forward, issues will be released in the Spring, Summer and Fall. This means you won’t be seeing a Winter Issue release, but we have some exciting things in store for next Spring! 

Subscribers, you should have received a separate email with details of this change (if not, check your spam). The only thing changing about subscriptions is how often the magazine lands in mailboxes and the billing cycle (subscribers are billed $20 one month before each new issue is released).

This is both an editorial and financial decision, and the best option for me and the team. We want to have more time to develop each issue concept, conduct interviews and source compelling projects. Plus, the reality is, printing and distributing a magazine is very expensive, and I’m hoping to continue this project for as long as I can.

Thank you for continuing to support this project as it evolves! We are planning to keep this momentum going and engage with the community in more ways while working behind the scenes on the next print magazine. Keep an eye out for more information about the next theme and submission opportunity coming early January 2025.   • Pamplemousse will be published 3 times per year instead of 4

Filter Photo Recap!

Filter Photo Festival in Chicago was a huge success! In the midst of the portfolio reviews, workshops and other programming, we were able to introduce Pamplemousse to a whole new community of photographers. Thank you to everyone who came to check us out! This event would not have been possible without our Senior Editor Jess Rhodes and Filter Photo Executive Director Erin Hoyt, plus everyone else who helped with logistics and helped out at our table. Thank you! Can't wait until next year!

Unseen Amsterdam Recap!

I had the best time in Amsterdam participating in the Unseen Photo Fair Book Market! It was a thrill to be at an international art fair among 60+ other prestigious publishers. I loved connecting with a new audience, spreading the word about the project, and meeting tons of people. Thank you to everyone who came by to say hi, buy a copy, or grab info about the project.

I could not have done this without a ton of help! Big shout out to Sofie, Hev & our distribution team at Ra & Olly, Marc at Athenaeum, Wesley, Kerry, and our team back home: Jess, Addi & Camila.
